Thank you Jean. I’m so happy you posted. The church was very cruel to me during our trial. They tried to break me during days of depositions. It makes me feel better to know we both have support and that people know we spoke the truth in court when nobody else would. We won this thing. Stay strong, you are not alone.

Mr. Gladsky I watched The Keepers documentary and I am curious if you knew that Maskell attended Calvert Hall and whether he would have been there when your abuser whose name keeps changing (Xavier Langan, Geffrey Xavier, etc) was there? What was his real name and do you have any details about his life and death?

Mr Nugent– having watched The Keepers (as well as having read your CP story back in the day– I am an illustrator and worked at CP from 88-98) I am curious about something which I believe was never discussed in the documentary. Whatever happened to Maskell’s brother, the cop? Was he ever under suspicion? Was he ever thought by any of the principals involved to have been Brother Bob? got it, thanks, Colm — the “Irish Connection” is a key aspect of this story — many of the girls at the school were from the working-class, heavily Irish-Catholic neighborhood that surrounded the Baltimore high school. The story of the Irish-Catholic church in America after the great waves of migration from Ireland to America from the Great Famine of 1848-50 and on through the first part of the 20th Century has never been told properly. Tom, after watching the Keepers, reading countless articles and listening to your pod cast interview, it very clear that you do not like Koob. I think it’s very clear that he is not revealing everyone he knows but I don’t understand how you come to the conclusion he is Brother Bob. I’ve listen to what you said about Fr Peter saying what ever he said to the press, but think couldn’t it just be possible that he was giving his account in the singular version. I mean he had no idea it was going to become what it is today. Also isn’t possible that they miss quoted him? I have read countless versions of the time line and events of that day written by countless news organizations. Isn’t it more likely that he showed up at Russell’s house and she told him everything? I mean that would account for the 45 mins it took her to talk to them. It clear he has more to tell, but couldn’t it be possible that what he knows, he learned after the fact, just like everyone else did? At that point it would be a questions of exposing things and possibly getting your self killed or getting someone else killed, like Russell.. I think is clear that you do not like Koob but that doesn’t make him a pedophile or a killer
Last thought: how stupid would this man have to be to participate in a series that would place him in the public eye for all those victims to see and ID him as brother Bob…
Hi Tom … I am contacting you from across the globe in Australia. Just finished watching the keepers like so many hundreds of thousands of others and I would love to get your thoughts on some ideas. You provided great insight but I am sure editing shielded even more great information from the viewers (not in a sinister way) and I would love to contact by email to discuss some concepts. But first, there was much to-do about that necklace but we don’t even really know if it belonged to Cathy. It was just surmised that it was Cathys. But what if it was Joyce Maleki’s …. that would finally show the roles of Ed (and Billy) in the context of things, because somehow i don’t think they were involved in killing Cathy but they did play a role. I have searched high and low and cant find the birthdate of Joyce Maleki. Do you know if by chance she was born in August? Email me if you have the time.
I would be interested to know Tom why you think Koob is brother Bob? what evidence exists regarding this as I noticed you said there is evidence? If there is why haven’t the police talked to Koob since the 90’s if evidence does exist?
I don’t know how much it would take to for the victims to come forward and relive the horrible memory. I can’t believe after causing the lifetime damages to so many people directly or to their family like domino, Maskell had never been indicted and been able to die in peace. This is exactly something that makes me wonder if there’s really god above.

I am an amateur profiler working on the Cathy Cesnik case. Would love to pick your brain. Under law, I do have to state I am not a psychologist or a doctor, nor do I hold myself out to be one. However, I am working on this case as a private citizen. Would love to hear from you. I’m an Irishman and was raised by Irish Catholic Grandparents. Always have to correct my friends when they ask “Don’t you mean Roman Catholic?” I always tell them that there is a difference, Irish Catholic are more staunch and compare greatly in faith with hispanic Catholics. I have spent more than one sleepless night working on this case and hope to help nail this case closed.
